Ubuntu Consultants is a people-first consulting firm based in Johannesburg, and we are looking for an enthusiastic Facilitator to join our growing team. In this role, you will help individuals and groups learn, connect, and grow through workshops, training sessions, and collaborative discussions. This is a full-time, entry-level position — so if you are passionate about people and eager to build a career in learning and development, we want to hear from you. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds.
Plan and deliver engaging workshops and training sessions for diverse groups of participants. Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable to share and participate. Support participants through activities, group discussions, and practical exercises to help them reach their learning goals. Collect feedback after sessions and work with the team to continuously improve our programmes. Keep accurate records of attendance, session notes, and participant progress.
A matric certificate is essential; a diploma or degree in education, social sciences, HR, or a related field is an advantage but not required. Strong communication and listening skills — you must be comfortable speaking in front of groups and adapting your style to different audiences. A genuine interest in people, learning, and community development. Basic computer skills including email and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Fluency in English is required; additional South African languages are a big plus.
Competitive entry-level salary with clear opportunities for growth and promotion within the company. Full-time permanent position with paid leave and public holidays. Ongoing training and mentorship to help you develop your facilitation skills and build a long-term career. A supportive, diverse team that genuinely lives the Ubuntu philosophy — we grow together. Convenient Johannesburg location with accessible public transport links.
